Fred- I want to thank you for such a great time on the fossil hunting trip that we took on June 23rd. We had such a good time that we are still talking like it was yesterday! Hopefully we can hunt together again sometime soon. I guess you could say that " I look forward to digging the past in the future"! THANKS again!!! Mark Scott
Hi Fred, Just wanted to say thank you again for our expedition yesterday! We had a great time and you were terrific! It was fantastic to learn so much about Florida and fossil hunting. Love our finds and I enjoyed reading the fossil book! Hope to see you again for another excursion!
Hi Fred- thanks for the photos and for a fantastic time. We all loved every minute of it, Chloe and Layla have taken in ALL their finds to show their classmates and Ms. Rotstein. (their teacher) Thanks again, it was brilliant
I just wanted to say again how wonderful your program was today. My students were inspired and excited to learn all those facts about Prehistoric Florida and the animals back then. They couldn't stop talking about how "awesome" the in-school field trip was. You kept their attention and inspired them to want to learn more. Thank you so much! We will definitely ask you back next year.
I just wanted to thank you, once again, for an amazing experience. With three different families, a total of 15 people of varying ages, everyone had a wonderful time. I especially want to thank you for your patience with my 8 year old son. He was so happy with his treasures. Thank you again, and we hope to return on another adventure with you!
Thanks for 2 great days on the river! I will definitely get back with you later in the summer and tell anyone interested that you are truly a great guide.
Fred, Wow! What a great day! Thank you! We had a blast. Looking forward to another trip with you.
I shared the info about Paleo Discoveries with my dad and he ordered 3 jars of the Fossil Gravel. He set up an area in his workshop and sifted through it looking for fossil treasures.
I just wanted you to know that those jugs of gravel have made a wonderful difference in a dreary Indiana winter. What an amazing way to make a living you have and also know that the awe of fossil hunting is alive and well planted here in the Hoosier state!"
Hi Fred, We would like to thank you for the wonderful day this past Tues. We all learned a lot about the fossils of the area and I know for myself I have re-energized the fossil hunter in me.
I really appreciate the amount of time you spent with both kids. I know they really enjoyed themselves!"
Hi Fred, I just wanted to thank you again for the great day on Sun. the 18th. We all had a wonderful time and were thrilled with our finds. Every night at our condo, Layne and Kyle would look over their fossils and check them out in the book you gave us.
And after a full week at Disney, the first thing they did when we got home was show their mom and dad the teeth and bones they found.
They had no idea they were learning! We will surely be back for more on our next visit to Florida!
Thank you again for making our trip to Florida one of our best ever!
Dear Fred, I wanted to again tell you how much fun we had looking for fossils. Many times, a trip is considered a success or failure dependent on the tour guide. You never once stopped answering questions, explaining fossil formations, and providing expertise above and beyond our expectations. It's apparent that you enjoy searching for the fossils as much as your guests. You didn't take a single break, or stop from positioning our family in the most beneficial spot to make great finds. Our success was due mainly to your expertise and desire to be in the water with us. Looking forward to next year.
Fred, Thank you so very much for providing an amazing and memorable experience for our students. They had an absolutely fabulous time and I appreciate all of the time, planning and patience you have had to utilize throughout the week. Great field trip!
Hi Fred, Thanks for another fun trip on the Peace River this year. We were able to broaden our spectrum of fossil varieties from last year's trip, adding more mammal fossils and near- perfect snaggle-tooth sharks' teeth. The kids still think it is more fun than Disney World! We'll be back.
Hi Fred - Regarding the fossil-hunting tour; I had an ABSOLUTELY fantastic day. One of the best and I've done lots of great adventures for sure. I'm TOTALLY hooked and can't wait to do it again. It is one of my favorite memories of my life in Florida (9 yrs.next month). I tell everyone they must do this at least once in a lifetime.
Thank you for a wonderful day on the Peace River digging for fossils. I will recommend your guided tours into pre-history to everyone vacationing or living in Florida. You possess a gracious, welcoming and warm spirit.
In addition, your knowledge of Florida fossils and professional attitude were exceptional and made the day of digging even more enjoyable. I am returning in July and plan to schedule another day of fossil-hunting on the Peace River with you as a guide. Please do not hesitate to contact me if I can ever be of service to you. Thank you,
Fossil Gravel Steals Santa’s Thunder! “Just a quick note to tell you about our experience with the Fossil Gravel we ordered. Sam and I were most excited to give Ivor (5) his new bike from Santa and Fiona (4) her new kitchen. Unfortunately we gave them the Fossil Gravel first. They were outside the front door with a big bowl and dug through it for the better part of an hour!
We had to drag them in periodically to open more gifts. It’s been two days and the gravel is still yielding teeth, and present like Hotwheels track have yet to be opened, and the Leap Pad is collecting dust.
I guess this is my way of telling you that you have a huge hit on your hands. It was (annoyingly, considering the credit card bills) our children’s favorite gift this year.” Thank you very much.
We may get older but we should never stop exploring and learning! Just wanted to thank you for taking my daughter, her son and myself on a short notice fossil hunt on the Peace river.
We enjoyed the experience very much and my grandson did nothing but talk about it all the way back to Vistana Beach Club where we were vacationing for a week. My daughter didn't think I would be interested in this but I was and we all had a great time.
We may get older but we should never stop exploring and learning! Thanks for the time, the education, and the journey I shared with my daughter and grandson.
Hi Fred, we just wanted to thank you for the great day yesterday! Once we got back Hazel and I couldn't help but count our "booty" and the accompanying photo is our result. The Meg at the center is awesome and is most likely to be the catalyst leading to a new obsession. Thanks once more and we'll see you again next year!
